Cerebrum Cadre Launches Axiom Refract, an Architecture Governance Platform That Gives Any Codebase a Verified Structural Record
SKU 1 from the CSI, Inc. division targets M&A teams, compliance officers, and engineering leadership managing AI-assisted development — with native MCP integration and support for 145+ programming languages
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PORT ORANGE, FL — March 2026 — Cerebrum Cadre, a division of CSI, Inc., today announced the general availability of Axiom Refract, an architecture governance platform that automatically analyzes any codebase and produces a governed, multi-format record of its structure, risk, dependency relationships, and compliance posture.
Axiom Refract is the first commercial product from Cerebrum Cadre — SKU 1 in a planned product line from the division, which is currently in active formation as an independent corporation targeting a mid-2026 spin-off from CSI, Inc.
The Problem
Software teams at scale share a common vulnerability: their architectural knowledge is tribal, not documented. Dependency maps live in the heads of engineers. Compliance posture is estimated, not verified. When a key engineer leaves, a company is acquired, or AI agents begin contributing code at volume, the structural understanding holding a codebase together can disappear with no record it ever existed.
This isn't a tooling problem. It's a knowledge persistence problem.
Existing code analysis tools — SonarQube, Semgrep, Snyk, CodeClimate, Checkmarx, GitHub CodeQL — address code quality, security vulnerabilities, and dependency management. None produce a persistent, governed architectural record that survives personnel changes, M&A events, or the transition to AI-assisted development workflows.
The Product
Axiom Refract analyzes a repository using Tree-sitter AST parsing across 145+ programming languages (103 hand-hardened for depth) and produces a structured deliverable through five sequential analysis modules:
- Core — call graph extraction, blast radius calculations, SPOF detection, dead code identification
- Untangler — circular dependency decomposition, tight coupling analysis
- Secretary — report compilation across JSON, Markdown, and DOCX simultaneously
- Cartographer — C4 architecture diagrams in six types, exported as SVGs
- Assembler — final deliverable packaging including compliance mappings, risk assessments, and remediation guidance
The platform delivers its output through four channels: a web dashboard, a RESTful API for CI/CD integration, a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI agent connectivity, and direct file download. Its MCP server — one of the first purpose-built for architectural governance — allows AI coding tools including Anthropic's Claude and GitHub Copilot to query the architectural record directly, enabling AI agents to work from verified ground truth rather than inference.
The platform supports nine compliance frameworks including SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST SSDF, GDPR, and CCPA, and produces evidence-backed compliance mapping as part of its standard output. Source code is retained for 30 days post-analysis and permanently deleted. The company explicitly states across three separate legal documents that no customer code is used to train AI models.
Availability and Pricing
Axiom Refract is generally available at axiomrefract.com. The platform offers a Founder Program — 250 lifetime price-lock seats at 50% off standard rates, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Subscription tiers range from $275/month (Starter, Founder pricing) to $2,500/month (Business, Founder pricing), with Enterprise tiers available on custom terms. Pay-per-scan pricing is available starting at $75/scan (beta pricing). A free tier is included with no credit card required.
